Georg Philipp Telemanns 18 Canons mélodieux were released in 1738 in Paris for the first time.
In the original they were meant for transverse flute, violin or Viola da gamba.
As usual technique they were transposed by a minor third to be played on treble recorders. This edition however devotes the tenor recorder.
Unpleasant fingering combinations are avoided hence players will be delighted in playing.
