Trio in F major - W.Fr. Bach/ Ph. Spätling
Item num.: es00145
by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Philipp Spätling
Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Philipp Spätling
Instrumentation: 2 flutes, violoncello
The duet taken as a basis originates from a collection of duets which were long considered to be the archetype of a perfect two-voice movement. Probably, W.F. Bach dedicated them to P.G. Buffardin and J.J. Quantz – the most famous transverse flute players of that time. In this version, the piece appears as a trio for the first time.
